What kind of security does Infinite provide?

Infinite’s vertical design gives the building an immediate advantage when dealing with safety concerns. By building up, the number of entries can be counted on one hand, unlike the typical Chicago brownstone apartments, which are far less secure. Infinite’s fewer access points mean fewer opportunities for unwanted visitors to enter the community. Infinite is also equipped with standard apartment deadbolts, bedrooms with locking door handles and individual keys, a helpful front desk staff, security cameras, 24/7 staffing, and secured electronic key access.

Are building tours available?

Yes, we provide building tours throughout the year. Please contact us to speak to a leasing agent and schedule a time convenient for you.

What is an individual lease?

Infinite’s individual leasing process means each tenant within a unit has their own lease; thus, roommates aren’t financially responsible for another roommate’s late payment or lack of payment.

How does the roommate matching process work?

Infinite will offer roommate matching services to those interested in living in our building but do not have enough roommates to fill an entire unit of their choice. Residents will fill out a Roommate Matching Form during the application process, which asks basic and detailed questions about study habits, class and work schedules, social activities, overnight guests, etc. Roommate assignments are not made until we are fully leased, allowing signed tenants the time to refer their friends to the building.

Who signs the lease, the guarantor or the student?

Only the individual living in the unit needs to sign the lease. A guarantor (usually a parent) will need to sign the Guaranty Form.

Is a Guarantor form required?

A guarantor form is required for tenants who need a cosigner to be able to rent an apartment at Infinite.

Is there a security deposit or application fee?

Infinite performs a background and credit check on each Resident, as well as a credit check on the guarantor. The fee for this is $50. We also require a non-refundable Redecoration Fee of $250. Infinite does NOT require a security deposit or surety bond. If there are damages and cleaning charges to the apartment, a resident will be charged for these damages at the end of move out.

What is Pressbox?

Infinite now partners with Pressbox, an easy and convenient dry cleaning service. The Pressbox lockers are located on the 2nd floor of the Gibbons building. More information can be found here:
